The final stage of the Caspian Start-Up 2023 competition took place on June 6, 2023. "Caspian Start-Up" is an international competition for scientific projects, with this year's theme being "IT startups that improve lives". The competition received 215 applications from students of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.

As a result of the competition, three participants were selected and received grants to study at KBTU. Amina Asadova received a grant for the educational program "Robotics and Mechatronics", Kakhno Victor received a grant for the same educational program, and Mutaykhan Almubdi was awarded a grant for the educational program "IT Management".
