Laumulin Chokan Turarovich, a professor from the School of Natural and Social Sciences at KBTU, has become a member of the Committee on the New Energy System of GEIDCO (Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization).
GEIDCO is a global organization dedicated to promoting sustainable energy development worldwide. It brings together businesses, organizations, and institutions that are working towards creating a global energy infrastructure to meet the increasing demand for electricity using environmentally friendly alternatives. Over the years, GEIDCO has made significant innovative efforts in advancing clean energy development, end-user electrification, and grid integration. To accelerate the establishment of a new energy system focused on energy transition and carbon neutrality, GEIDCO plans to form a Technical Committee on the New Energy System. This committee aims to harness global knowledge and experience, drive key technological innovations, and enhance international cooperation, with the goal of collectively shaping a green, low-carbon, and sustainable future for global energy and energy systems.
The Committee on the New Energy System functions as a subcommittee under the GEIDCO Technical (Academic) Committee. Its primary objectives include promoting and conducting research on key technologies, strategic planning, developing political mechanisms, implementing innovative outcomes, formulating industry standards, organizing high-quality academic activities, and publishing relevant materials.
