On May 27, KBTU hosted the "1st Annual Graduate Student Research Workshop on Computer Science, Information Systems, and Engineering" for master’s students. The event was timed to coincide with the completion of the course "Research Methods" taught by Professor Shamoi Pakizar of SITE. The seminar was attended by 106 first-year master’s students whose scientific articles underwent a rigorous review process at the end of the course.

 

The presentations at the workshop were divided into three sections:

Section I: Computer Science.

Section II: Information Systems and Information Systems Management.

Section III: Automation, Control, and Engineering.

 

As a result of the event, awards and certificates were presented to the winners. The best papers were awarded the "Best Paper Award" based on the assessment of both the scientific paper and the quality of the presentation at the seminar. The winners in each section were as follows:

 

Computer Science:

1st place - Izbasar Asylzhan Aidaruly.

2nd place - Shakirov Zakir Kamilevich.

3rd place - Muratbekova Muragul.

 

Information Systems and Information Systems Management:

1st place - Adilova Ayana Berikzhanovna.

2nd place - Erkin Adilet Asylbekuly.

3rd place - Zakirov Alisher Kuanyshevich.

 

Automation, Control, and Engineering:

1st place - Fazulzhanov Yunus Rashidovich.

2nd place - Sani Sani Abdullahi.

3rd place - Zadagerey Beksultan Maksatuly.

 

The event received positive feedback and became a landmark event for the development of scientific activities among master’s students at KBTU. The speakers demonstrated a high level of work on their dissertation research and excellent preparation. During the discussions, the teaching staff of SITE, master’s, PhD, bachelor’s students actively participated, asking questions, and the speakers provided detailed answers. The seminar was held in a friendly and productive atmosphere.
