On May 3, at the National School of Mines of Saint-Etienne (France), a graduate of the KBTU School of Chemical Engineering, Madina Naukanova, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation for the PhD degree.

 

The defense of the doctoral dissertation of the graduate was visited by the dean of the SCE KBTU, Jamansariyeva Kalykyz Utemisovna. During the defense, the dean of the National School of Mines of Saint-Etienne, and supervisor of dissertation work, professor Jean-Michel Herri, emphasized the high level of basic training of students at the School of Chemical Engineering of KBTU.

 

Madina Naukanova is a bachelor's degree (2017) and master's degree (2019) graduate of SCE KBTU. In 2017, she completed her bachelor's degree program from Chemical Technology of Organic Substances SCE with excellent work in the field of ionic liquids. Her studies were confirmed by the patent of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the results were presented at the XIII International Conference on Organic Chemistry IKCOC-13, in Kyoto (Japan).

 

While studying at the magistracy of the SCE KBTU, Madina Naukanova became the owner of the Abai-Vern international scholarship. The successful continuation of her studies at the magistracy of the SCE KBTU and the National School of Mines of Saint-Etienne allowed Madina to enter the doctoral program of the National School of Mines of Saint-Etienne.
