On May 12, a presentation and discussion of the "Regional Economic Forecast for the Caucasus and Central Asia" took place. The event was organized by the IMF, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Mongolia Technical Assistance Center, with the assistance of the IMF's Middle East and Central Asia Department. The presentations were attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Jumasseitova Asel Kenesovna and professors of KBTU. KBTU graduates Nurdaulet Abilov, Ilyas Akhetov and Amantay Kenzheali were among the organizers. Nurdaulet Abilov is an economic analyst at The Caucasus, Central Asia, and Mongolia Regional Capacity Development Center, Ilyas Akhetov is an associate banker at Energy Eurasia MEA, and Amantay Kenzheali is an analyst at Sustainable Infrastructure Eurasia. It was nice to see KBTU graduates among the organizers. We are proud of our graduates and wish them further prosperity in their careers.
