Felbinger shared her experiences and insights on the benefits of promoting inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility and sustainability, especially in the face of global crises and challenges.
The closing plenary session of the 2023 ABET Symposium, dedicated to addressing the issues and findings outlined the day before, featured a panel discussion on the need for sustainability and the opportunities facing current and future problem solvers. Led by Mike McMeekin, co-founder of the Engineering Change Lab (USA), panelists representing Peace Engineering at the University of Mexico, Engineering for One Planet, the Lemelson Foundation, and Engineers Without Borders offered their vision of the future and answered questions from the audience.
