On April 14, 2023, KBTU representatives took part in the Global Actionable Knowledge Exchange 2023: The Ideas, Vision, and Commitment of Young Business Leaders to CSR, SDGs, and ESG conference.

The conference was held in a hybrid format - offline in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) and online. Professors, researchers and students of the University of Pennsylvania spoke at the conference. From the KBTU participated: independent director Arslanova Zarina Fuatovna, rector of KBTU Gabdullin Maratbek Tulebergenovich, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Jumasseitova Assel Kenesovna. During the meeting, topical issues on artificial intelligence development, environmental issues and transparency in entrepreneurship were discussed. The KBTU's experience in the development of student projects, the ESG skills development among graduates and the KBTU's contribution to the development of these processes were also presented. As the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United States noted, the ESG agenda is one of the most pressing topics for the Republic of Kazakhstan today.
