On March 16, 2023, Astana IT University hosted a seminar meeting held by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic «New trends in the academic policy of universities». Two representatives of KBTU took part in a seminar meeting: Jumasseitova Asel Kenesovna, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KBTU with the topic «Formation of ESG skills among university graduates» and Mynbaev Kairat Turysbekovich, Professor of the International School of Economics with the topic «Innovative approaches to using online opportunities in the educational process».

More than 100 vice-rectors for academic affairs and heads of academic departments of universities took part in the seminar meeting, as well as about 300 representatives of universities connected online.

The speakers of the event touched upon issues related to the nature of changes in educational standards, the main trends and their impact on higher education, and the formation of graduates' skills following the requirements of employers.
