Petroleum Experts Limited (PetEx) donated 10 IPM (Integrated Production Modeling) educational software licenses to the School of Energy and Petroleum Industry at KBTU. The software provided is worth about £2,584,803.53.
The IPM Toolkit includes GAP, GAP TRANSIENT, PROSPER, MBAL, PVTP, REVEAL and RESOLVE modules that can work together to enable the future petroleum engineer to develop complex reservoir models. Models may include tank farms, all types of wells, and a petroleum facility design and treatment system for petroleum products.
