February 2, 2023, there was a meeting of KBTU rector Gabdullin M.T. with the delegation of the Republican State Enterprise «National Center for Geodesy and Spatial Information» in the following composition: Nurmakhanov Z.B., Deputy General Director, Kalabaev R.S., Head of the Hydrographic Projects Department, and Nazikov N.B., Leading Specialist of the Commercial Activities Department. On the part of KBTU, Managing Director for Continuing Education Ibraev A.M., Dean of the Kazakhstan Maritime Academy Biktashev R.G. Deputy Dean of the School of Information Technologies and Engineering Imanbayev A.Z., Dean of the School of Geology Akhmetzhanov A.Z. took part.

As a result of the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation on the digitalization of the Caspian within the framework of the «Digital Kazakhstan program».

The subject of activity of the Republican State Enterprise «National Center for Geodesy and Spatial Information» is the production of topographic-geodesic, and cartographic works, as well as digital aerial photography and hydrographic works.

The company has 11 branches located in different regions of the country.
