The Scientific Council included Dzhumadildaev Askar Serkulovich - professor of KBTU, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kustubaeva Almira Melsovna - professor of KBTU and head of the department of biophysics, biomedicine and neuroscience of KazNU named after Al-Farabi. The Council is an open advisory body, in which, by decision of the chairman, deputies of Parliament, government agencies, representatives of political parties and NGOs, scientists and independent experts can take part. The National Council for Science and Technology is one of the key institutions in the country's transition to an open science model.
