On November 10-11, 2022, KBTU hosted ACBSP Region 8 Online Conference on the topic “Celebrating Collaborative Alliances: Stronger Together”. During the conference, experts from the academia, business shared their ideas on various topics, including the future of business education, the importance of education improvement through accreditation, and strategic collaborations between business education and industry. Among keynote speakers were Mr. Zorigt Munkhtuya, Researcher of Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation with a presentation on the topic “Collaborative Development”, Ms. Zhanna Iskenova, the Head of ACCA -Central Asia with a presentation on the topic “Accountancy for Future and ACCA partnership with Universities”. As a part of the conference, presentations by the faculty of Region 8 and a student showcase were presented.
KBTU Business School has been accredited by the American Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) since 2019. ACBSP is a leading accreditation body for business education. Associate Professor of KBTU Business School Dr. Diana Amirbekova is the chairwoman of the Region 8 in 2022-2024.
