🏅The winners in the ‘open’ and ‘girls’ sections will receive a grant to study at the Kazakh-British Technical University in any specialty for all four years of study!
⠀
♟The competition is designed mainly for those who graduate from grades 9-11 in 2022 and have a grade not lower than the first, as well as college students with the first grade and higher. Students and applicants who do not fit into the specified framework can participate on special conditions.
⠀
🔹The tournament is being held for the eighth time. Previously, the grant could only be awarded to Kazakhstani chess players, but since 2017 this restriction has been lifted. Thus, the tournament will be international. According to the results of the competition, it will even be possible to fulfill the norm of the international title.
⠀
🔹The organizers of the tournament are the Basic Faculty of the Kazakh–British Technical University and the student group Chess Makers, which organizes chess competitions in KBTU, with the support of the KBTU Rector's Office.
