In 2022, 9 teams from KBTU reached the final of the international Creative Spark Big Idea Challenge 2022., where candidates had to submit a 60-second video recording of their business idea.
Creative Spark Big Idea Challenge is an international video pitch competition, which is attended by students from universities participating in the British Council Creative Spark program and young entrepreneurs.
About the Creative Spark program: Creative Spark is a program for higher educational institutions for the development of entrepreneurship. This is a five-year initiative aimed at developing creative economy and entrepreneurial skills in seven countries of Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), the South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia) and Ukraine. This project is part of the Creative Spark Entrepreneurship Development Program for Higher Education Institutions and is funded by the British Council. The DiabetApp mobile application is a virtual diabetes assistant, where a person will find blood sugar control, a series of physical exercises, a diet for diabetes and receive notifications about taking medications, as well as collecting data on measurements of insulin and bread units. We collect measurement data, doctors can monitor patient statistics.
