On April 20, 2022, the university administration, headed by KBTU Rector Gabdullin Maratbek Tulebergenovich, met with President of Honeywell Turkey & Central Asia Doyuran Uygar, President of Honeywell Russia and CU Georgy Georgiev, as well as CEO of Honeywell Automation Controls System Abdigaliev Serik Kanaevich.

 During the meeting, the parties got acquainted with the current state of cooperation and discussed the prospects for its further development.

 During the visit, the Honeywell delegation visited the Honeywell Automation Training Center, laboratories of the Faculty of Information Technology, the Halyk Academy laboratory, simulators of the Kazakhstan Maritime Academy, the Multimedia Technology Center, the Nanotechnology Laboratory, the SMART CITY LAB laboratory, opened jointly with the Digitalization Department of Almaty and the international Swiss organization IGLUS.
