On April 13, 2022, the Kazakh-British Technical University hosted the semi-finals of the Student Team World Championship in programming ICPC Northern Eurasia Finals - 2022 among student teams. It was attended by 148 students from the universities of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

On April 12, a trial round of the competition took place, at which the teams adapted and tuned in to the main stage. In the main round, student teams from our region showed a masterful level of programming, as well as close-knit teamwork.

Championship semi-final winners:

1. IITU: SuperNoVa (Kuanyshbay, Altynbekov, Shormankhan)

2. HSE: Sovetskiy Soyuz (Zimanov, Pankevich, Zimanov)

3. AITU: 1 (Muratov, Kamzabek, Kyzyrkanov)

4. MSU Tashkent: 1 Awesome Team (Ashirmatov, Dostavalov, Toshpulatov) 

5.KBTU: Sᴬᵁ Bᴼᴸᵂᴵ (Altybay, Madibek, Khibadullin) 

6. NU: 1 (Aldazharov, Batyrkhan, Omarov)

The winners will face teams from around the world in the ICPC World Finals at the University of Asia Pacific in Dhaka in November 2022.
