KBTU Business School students won prizes at the EY Audit Adventure case championship. 23 teams from Central Asia and Hungary participated in the competition. Over the 4 weeks course, students learned about the profession of an auditor by solving real business cases, as well as checking and honing their knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards. For each business case solution, the guys held a defense in front of EY managers, where broad knowledge in the field of accounting was required.
Students from the Simple team Zhenisuly S., Mashirapov D., Zharkynbek A., Amangeldi I., Iskandar K. were able to successfully pass all the stages and received an honorable 3rd place. Also, students Orenula A. and Musaeva A. from the FinMin team were noted by EY managers for their deep knowledge, which they showed during the defense.
All the above students have secured the status of High Priority Candidate already in their 2nd or 3rd year, which gives them the privilege of a simplified employment procedure in the top international company Ernst & Young, which is one of the Big Four.
The guys are very grateful to the BS professors, who gave them the strongest fundamental knowledge base in finance, accounting, taxes and economics, which ensured their success in the competition and opens up great prospects for them.
We congratulate our students and wish them further achievements!
