On December 5, 2021, in Houston, at a meeting of the World Petroleum Council, it was announced that the next WPC Youth Forum will be held in Almaty.

It is a great pride for us to announce that the Kazakh-British Technical University was chosen as the venue for this international event.

We would like to thank the Executive Committee of the World Petroleum Council for the expressed confidence and opportunity to host the event on a global scale.

Today KBTU is the leader of higher technical education not only in Kazakhstan, but throughout Central Asia, having crossed the 20-year anniversary, has a modern resource base, which unconditionally makes the university an ideal venue for such a large-scale and unique event as the Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council. This is the largest international platform for professional communication of young specialists in the oil and gas industry, exchange of experience, information and the best achievements of the industry, as well as for strengthening interaction with leaders of the oil and gas sector.
