On October 26, 2021, KBTU met with representatives of the “Astana” International Financial Center, where they discussed the possibilities of cooperation and interaction on the Belt and Road (BRI) project to ensure communications and infrastructure development. The mobile application TABYS, developed by Astana International Exchange Ltd (AIX), the AIFC stock exchange, was also presented. The main purpose of the TABYS application is to provide the citizens of Kazakhstan with the opportunity to invest in the stock market.

Cooperation with the AIFC on these projects will allow KBTU students and staff to study financial literacy by attending educational seminars on capital markets and taking advantage of internship opportunities.
