Halyk Academy is a joint project of Halyk Bank, KBTU and IITU, which allows to create a balanced flexible, easily upgradeable and mobile training program, taking into account the prospects for the development of specialized technologies.
According to such successful cooperation, qualified specialists of Halyk Bank are effectively involved in the educational process of universities. At the same time, the consolidation of the joint efforts of the Halyk Academy project allowed the partners to be the first in Kazakhstan to start introducing the advanced language Go (Golang) into the educational programs of universities.
“We designed and implemented this project taking into account the expected growing shortage and demand for developers who can write programs in the Go language (Golang). This language was developed by Google and is currently used by programmers around the world. This is a young language, but Halyk and other large companies in Kazakhstan are actively introducing it into their technology stack. We, as practitioners, are very interested in the fact that Kazakhstani universities already have all the necessary arsenal of advanced knowledge in the field of modern programming for the preparation and training of students as highly qualified specialists in demand in the market", - Halyk Bank corporate IT architect Zhanara Yesenberlina.
Realizing the growing need for Golang developers and the relevance of the Go language for the Bank and the Kazakhstani market as a whole, Bank has developed a full-fledged curriculum on Go programming with partner universities this summer.
Halyk Bank takes an active part in the development and approval of an elective educational program, and the Bank's employees are involved in conducting practical classes and reading guest lectures on certain topics.
