On November 21, the Double degree diplomas of the University of London and KBTU were awarded to the graduates of the International School of Economics (ISE) of the Kazakh-British Technical University within the framework of the double degree program with KBTU and University of London.
The online ceremony was attended by the Dean of the International School of Economics Gavin Kretzschmar, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Asel Jumaseitova, deputy deans and faculty, as well as a special guest - the supervisor of the Professional Development Bureau programs of the AIFC Ruslan Muldashev. Everyone wished the graduates of ISE all the best - and not to stop self-development and confirm their high level of training in a professional environment. Students in ISE achieved a 98% pass rate in the 2019/20 year, an astounding achievement.
Gaziz Kazbekov spoke on behalf of the alumni, who thanked the teachers and managers of the faculty, as well as fellow students for the unique experience and relevant knowledge gained during the years of study at the International School of Economics.
29 graduates of the ISE received diplomas from the University of London (UOL): 18 in the specialty "Mathematics and Economics", 10 in the specialty "Economics and Finance" and 1 in the specialty "Banking and Finance".
1st year students of the ISE were also congratulated for successfully passing the Advanced Placement (AP) exams with an amazing 88% pass rate. In addition, students of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years were awarded for high performance in the following categories Top 5 in AP, Top 5 in GPA and Top 5 in UoL.
Kazakh-British Technical University is the only Higher Education Institution in the Republic of Kazakhstan recognized as an official teaching centre, offering double degrees with academic direction from the prestigious University of London.
