On August 25, the second annual Pedagogical Council of KBTU "Results of the 2019-20 academic year, plans for the 2020-21 academic year" took place. This year the teachers' meeting was held in an online format.

The leadership of the Kazakh-British Technical University acquainted the faculty and staff of the university with the results of work for the past academic year, set tasks for the new academic year, shared plans and outlined strategic priorities for the near future. The members of the teachers' council asked questions and expressed their proposals.

Among the aspects touched upon were the prospects for the development of KBTU in current realities, the completion of the digitalization of the university, the introduction of new educational programs and the development of double degree programs and academic mobility.

Rector of KBTU Kenzhebek Niyazovich Ibrashev noted the increase in the position of the university in the latest ratings of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken". Employment of graduates remains a key indicator for the university, which exceeds 90% at the end of 2019.

Within the framework of the pedagogical council, letters of gratitude were awarded to the teaching staff of KBTU for their significant contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists, as well as university students for their active work.
