The staff and administration of the Kazakh-British Technical University expresses deep condolences to the family and friends of the Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State Prize winner in the field of science and technology, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Ergozhin Edil Ergozhayevich.

Ergozhin Edil Ergozhayevich for many years headed the A.B. Bekturov Institute of Chemical Sciences. He was a major scientist, a talented teacher who made an invaluable contribution to the development of domestic science, the founder of the world-famous Kazakhstani scientific school in the field of ion exchange chemistry and membrane technology, a well-known organizer of science and higher education in Kazakhstan.

Ergozhin Edil Ergozhayevich made a huge contribution to the training of doctors and candidates of chemical sciences, until now he was a member of the Academic Council of the Kazakh-British Technical University.

For us Edil Ergozhayevich will be an example of devotion to his profession and a talented leader. The bright memory of him will remain in our hearts forever.
