Zh. Dauletbekova is a graduate of the Kazakh National University named after S.M. Kirov (now al-Farabi). Conducts research on methods of teaching the Kazakh language in secondary schools and higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 8 monographs on methods of teaching the Kazakh language, 3 Concepts, 4 mandatory state educational standards, 12 standard educational programs, more than 40 textbooks, more than 120 educational and teaching aids, about 150 scientific, scientific and public articles have been published. Zhanat Dauletbekova’s scientific and teaching experience is 40 years. He has been teaching at KBTU since 2002.
Zhanat Turarbekovna is the author of the original technology “Learning with meaning”. Winner of the sign “Excellence in Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (1996) and the state grant “Best Teacher of a Higher Education Institution” (2010), appointed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. “Honorary Citizen of Baidibekbi District” (2021), Academician of the “Academy of National Values” (2023).

Nusip Gulzhan Sakenovna, born on October 19, 1995 in the village of Kyzylzhar, Kerbulak district, Zhetysu district. She graduated from the secondary school named after D. Konaev in the village of Saryozek in the indicated region and in 2013 entered the Kazakh Women's State Pedagogical University in Almaty with a degree in “6B011700-Kazakh language and literature”. During her studies, she studied at school-gymnasium No. 140 named after M. Makatayev and the Nazarbayev Intellectual School. Having completed her bachelor’s degree in 2017, she entered the master’s program at this university in the specialty “7M011700-Kazakh language and literature” and graduated in 2019. From 2017 to 2019, she taught the subject “Kazakh language” for students not studying in the Kazakh language at the Baiterek educational center in Almaty. In 2019, she entered doctoral studies at the Department of Modern Turkish Languages and Literatures at Ankara University, Ankara, Turkey, under the “Turkiye Burslari” program. She successfully completed the main compulsory subjects and passed the exam for doctoral students, which is considered compulsory in Turkey, with high marks. Starting in 2021, I began teaching the Kazakh language online to students and adults. Akasheva Aigerim Omirtaevna
Aigerim Akasheva holds the position of an Assistant Professor at the Kazakh British Technical University (KBTU), where she has excelled in her role as an educator and researcher, teaching Academic English and Social Sciences. Aigerim's primary area of interest lies in sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics and Academic English teaching methodology. Domayev Adil Mukhamedkhanuly
Adil Domayev, an English language instructor at our university, has a diverse educational background and strong commitment to language teaching. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Teaching Foreign Languages from Suleyman Demirel University and a Master's degree in Leadership in Education from Nazarbayev University. Adil also studied English language and literature at the University of Leicester with an Erasmus+ scholarship.

Seitzhanov Eldos Zhambuly
Seitzhanov Eldos currently holds the position of lecturer at the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU), where he teaches academic English. Between 2016 and 2023, Eldos received his higher education. Yeldos received his bachelor's degree at Suleyman Demirel University majoring in Foreign Languages: Two Foreign Languages and his master's degree at Abylai Khan University of International Relations in methods of teaching foreign languages. Eldos chose French as a second language and already has experience teaching French to beginners. In 2022, Eldos completed a course on Advanced Teaching Strategies for Working with 21st Century Students, which helps him in working with his students. Eldos is distinguished by his ability to work with students of various needs, his ability to follow modern trends, which allows him to be on the same wavelength with students and simplifies the process of achieving joint goals. Eldos can also adapt to different situations and solve unforeseen difficulties that may arise in the process.

Professor of the History and Social Sciences Sector at the School of Natural and Social Sciences.
35 years of teaching experience, more than 40 years of research experience. I have been teaching at KBTU as a professor since 2006.
Author of more than 180 scientific articles, including those published abroad (Sweden, France, USA, Japan, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Russia). The article “Kazakhstan tragedy” (magazine “Questions of History”, Moscow, No. 7, October 1989) was the first publication in Soviet historiography about the mass famine of 1932–1933. in Kazakhstan, is constantly cited both in the post-Soviet space and by historians from far abroad. Has a high citation index.
He gave guest lectures at the University of Rennes (France), the Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (Paris), Hokkaido University (Sapporo), Birmingham University and Oxford (England).
He was awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science, and was awarded an honorary badge of the Minister of Science and Education “For his great contribution to the development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (2013).
He was repeatedly awarded with certificates from the Rector of KBTU.

After graduation, he worked at the Rudny Industrial Institute as a teacher, associate professor, and vice-rector. For many years he was in public service: in the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Culture and Information. He held the position of Vice Minister of Culture and Information. Organizer of six international scientific conferences dedicated to the new capital of Kazakhstan – Astana. Author of 350 scientific publications, including more than 20 monographs and books.

His research in Development Studies is focussed on science policy and dedicated to the organisation and development of fundamental science in the connection with technology, industry, society and modernisation. In the KBTU, Prof Laumulin reads his course on Philosophy and history of science and conducts his research on science policy as well as actively contributes to tackling the energy transition and green agenda, eg in organising the UN Almaty energy forums held annually at the KBTU. The 2nd Almaty Energy Forum was attended by high-ranking UN officials and the delegation from the Department of Physics and Cavendish Lab, including its head, Prof. Andy Parker and quantum physicist, Dr Siddharth Saxena (https://kbtu.edu.kz/en/latest-news/2808-guest-lecture-by-professor-andy-parker-was-held-at-kbtu) in November 2022. As well, as a member of the Education Committee of the British Kazakh Society, Prof Laumulin is engaged in developing collaboration in research and education between the UK and KBTU. As well, Prof. Chokan Laumullin develops a Cambridge scientists’ initiative to launch a cutting-edge fundamental research and technology institution in Kazakhstan, ie The Almaty Centre of Advanced Science and Technology (ACAST), to be operated under world-class scientists’ supervision to contribute to the development of certification and breakthrough-explorations for the national, regional and global progress.

Zhumadil Arman Kabdeshuly
Zhumadil Arman Kabdeshuly, candidate of historical sciences, scientist-teacher with many years of experience, associate professor of KBTU. He has about 50 scientific papers. He is the author of several monographs and textbooks. He gives general and special courses on the history, ethnography and culture of Kazakhstan and spiritual revival.

Sheraz Muhammad
Mr. Muhammad Sheraz is a faculty member at the School of Natural and Social Sciences. Mr. Sheraz is a former journalist, public affairs and communication professional, and academic leader with over 35 years of international experience in the fields of media and academia.
A graduate of City University London’s Journalism School, Mr. Sheraz specializes in international journalism, he also has a master’s degree in geography. Mr. Sheraz studied higher education management at the University College London and development studies at the University of London.
Between 1999 and 2006–7, Mr. Sheraz worked in London for the BBC World Service, Press TV, FENS, and the IWPR. Between 1987 and 1998, he hosted two popular television shows on Pakistan Television. He also worked with various newspapers and has been a regular commentator/analyst for Al-Jazeera TV.
Mr. Sheraz was a journalism and public relations professor at KIMEP University in Almaty from 2006 to 2012. From 2013 to 2018, Mr. Sheraz worked as the Chairperson of the journalism & communication department, the director of quality assurance, and the director of human resource development at a leading university in Pakistan. He was the Vice-Rector for Internationalization at KBTU in 2018–2019.
In 2022–2023, Mr. Sheraz was the Director of the International Center for Strategic Communications at the Kazakhstan National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) in Almaty. He also worked as the advisor to the Rector of the Kazakh Agrotechnical University (KATRU) on strategy, global engagement, and communication. In 2023, Mr. Sheraz again joined KBTU.
