Kazakh-British Technical University announces the holding of the traditional team chess tournament among universities of Kazakhstan "Chess semester at KBTU" in 2023.

Each university can field up to two teams to compete in the tournament, which will be held according to the rules of the International Chess Federation (FIDE). The team consists of bachelor and master students, three males and one female.

Schedule: November 30 - Tournament opening, rounds 1-3

December 1 - Rounds 4-9

December 2 - Closing ceremony
