Dear colleagues, undergraduate students, and Master’s students of the Republic of Kazakhstan!
As part of the celebration of the Day of Science Workers, from April 12 to April 15, 2022, the Republican Youth Scientific, and Practical Conference “Integration of Science and Education in Oil and Gas universities: advanced technologies and modern trends” will be held in the KBTU building in collaboration with the KBTU Student Excellence organization.
The world is at a stage when the development of society directly depends on the quality of engineering education. During his speech to the parliamentarians, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said: “It's time to give priority to technical specialties and nurture a new generation of industrial engineers”. Thus, the main goals and objectives of the Conference are to discuss the problems and prospects of science, increase the scientific and intellectual potential of undergraduates and students of the Republic of Kazakhstan, create a dialogue platform for establishing relations between researchers and practitioners working in a wide range of branches of science who are interested in improving methods related to energy and the oil and gas sector.
The Conference will be attended by experts in the field of education and science, academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, representatives of local executive bodies, partner companies, international organizations, industry associations.
The Conference is expected to address a wide range of issues related to the exploration and development of oil and gas fields, transportation, storage and processing of oil and gas, petrochemistry, equipment, automation, and digitalization of production processes, industrial, environmental and information security at fuel and energy companies.
For non-resident students and master's students, remote (speaking with a remote oral report) and correspondence (publication in the collection of conference materials without a report) forms of participation are provided. All expenses are covered by the participants themselves, including living expenses, transportation costs and medical insurance.
The official languages of the Conference are Russian and English with simultaneous translation. The Conference will be held in a combined (offline and online) format within the framework of a plenary, oral session and four sections devoted to energy and the oil and gas industry:
