Staff Mobility

International Credit Mobility (MKM) Erasmus + Program - mobility projects for students and university staff under Key Action 1: Learning Mobility

The Erasmus + program has opened up new opportunities for students, teachers and other university staff who are implementing as part of Key Action 1 (KeyAction 1). The mobility of students and teachers is an important component of the higher education system, which allows universities to develop, both the Countries of the Program and the Countries of Partners, where mobility becomes an incentive to improve the quality of teaching, improve the activities of international and student services, to compare and update training programs.

In order to receive funding, a university from a Country of Programs and a university from a Country of Partners must enter into a bilateral mobility agreement and fill out an application for funding. Then, the university from the Program Country contacts the authorized National Agency in its country, which evaluates the quality of the application and, based on the results, makes a decision on supporting or rejecting the application. To participate in the project on international credit mobility, it is necessary to sign an inter-institutional agreement (inter-institutionalagreement) between the university of the Program Country and the university of the Partner Country. In this document, the host and the sending universities agree and approve the number of open courses / programs for students and the proposed opportunities for employees. The agreement should also include recognition of loans upon completion of the mobility program.

You can get more detailed information by clicking on the link http://www.erasmusplus.kz/index.php/ru/erasmus-ru/actions/mkm

Currently, KBTU partners in MKM are the following universities:

• University of Coimbra

• VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic
