On June 17, 2026, the Scientific Library of the Kazakhstan-British Technical University (KBTU), in partnership with Data Express LLC, hosted the International Scientific and Practical Seminar "MegaPro School" in a hybrid format.
The seminar brought together more than 400 librarians and information professionals from educational, research, and cultural institutions across Kazakhstan. Over 70 participants attended the event in person at the KBTU Scientific Library.
The program focused on the digital transformation of libraries through the development of the MegaPro Integrated Library System (ILS). Key topics included expanding digital library services, integrating artificial intelligence into library operations, developing digital ecosystems, and creating collaborative information resources.
Experts from Data Express LLC, together with directors and specialists from university and public libraries in Almaty, Astana, and Kyzylorda, shared their experience and best practices in implementing modern library technologies.
The seminar concluded with an interactive discussion session, where participants exchanged ideas, received professional consultations, and discussed current challenges and future opportunities for digital library development.
The KBTU Scientific Library sincerely thanks Data Express LLC, all speakers, and participants for their valuable contributions and collaboration.
