– International accreditation by ABET — the world's most prestigious accreditation agency for engineering programs — for the degree programmes 6B06101 Information Systems, 6B06102 Computer Systems and Software, and 6B07103 Automation and Control, valid until 2029;
– Recognition as #1 in all three educational programmes of SITE in the NCP Atameken ranking for the 2024–2025 academic year;
– Outstanding performances by KBTU teams over the past 18 years at the ICPC World Finals in programming: 6 final appearances, including the 2018 finals in Beijing;
– Two-time finalists of the Microsoft Imagine Cup;
– Regular victories and podium finish by SITE students at national and international competitions, olympiads, and hackathons;
– Victories at Huawei ICT Competition 2024–2026: 1st place at the Global Final 2024–2025 in the Network Track, 2nd place at the National Final 2025–2026 in the Network Track, 3rd place in the AI Innovation Track (team Dockify), participation of both teams in the Global Final 2025–2026 in Shenzhen, and the title of Best ICT Academy 2025;
– A strong CTF team: 1st place at Cybersecurity Challenge II CTF 2026, podium finishes at SUCTF 2025, Military CTF 2025, BCC CTF 2025, CAU CTF 2026 (Tashkent), AITU CTF Final 2026, and recognition among Kazakhstan's best CTF teams at KazHackStan 2025;
– Wins at major hackathons: 1st place for team Qasynda at Halyk OYI 2026, 1st place at Humanoid Robots Hackathon (Digital Bridge 2025), 1st place at CyberShield Hackathon 2026, 1st and 2nd place at Turkestan AI Hackathon 2026, 1st place at Decentrathon 2026, 1st place at Satbaev University Game Jam, 1st place at the BASTAU – KBTU Autumn Cup;
– 12th place out of 34 teams worldwide at the international Shell Eco-Marathon 2026 (Qatar, January–February 2026);

No matter how strong the programmes, faculty, and laboratories may be, the primary responsibility for one's future rests with the student. The school, with all its resources, is only a guide and mentor — its value to the student is directly proportional to that student's own engagement and commitment.
