Researchers of Kazakh-British Technical University took part in the International Conference on Electronics, Engineering Physics and Earth Science (EEPES 2026), held on 24–27 June 2026 in Bandırma, Turkey.
The conference brought together researchers and experts from various countries to share scientific achievements and discuss current trends in engineering physics, electronics, artificial intelligence, and Earth sciences. The event was organized by the CIEES Association and Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, and its proceedings are indexed in the international Scopus database.
During the conference, KBTU researchers delivered three scientific papers in the form of oral presentations:
—    “Comparative study of regression models using machine learning to predict real stock prices” — a comparative analysis of machine-learning regression models for predicting real stock prices on electronic exchanges;
—    “Analysis of Multimodal Heterogeneous Graph Transformers for Reconstructing Social Network Structures Based on Open-Source Data”;
—    “Research on Vulnerability Detection Methods in SQL and NoSQL Systems Using Machine Learning and Large Language Models”.
—    «Performance Evaluation of WPA2 and WPA3 Security Protocols in Private Wi-Fi 6 Environments».
The presentations covered the scientific approaches, methodology, and results of the research.
The paper “Comparative study of regression models using machine learning to predict real stock prices” was granted the prestigious Best Paper Award as the best paper in its session. This recognition reflects the high scientific level of the research and the significant contribution of KBTU scholars to the advancement of machine-learning methods and applied data analysis.
Participation in the conference contributed to strengthening international scientific ties, expanding academic cooperation, and developing joint research with foreign partners.
