A meeting with representatives of Hangzhou Mayuan Education Technology Co., Ltd and the Kazakhstani company Oilan Group LLP was held at the Kazakh-British Technical University. Following the negotiations, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at implementing the educational AI platform Oilan.AI into the university’s academic environment.
Representatives of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University also took part in the meeting.
The cooperation is aimed at developing digital educational tools and expanding the use of artificial intelligence in the learning process. The implementation of the Oilan.AI platform will strengthen the quality of the educational environment and create new formats of interaction between faculty members, students, and digital technologies.
For faculty members, the platform will provide access to an AI assistant that can support the preparation of teaching materials, the development of assignments, and the automated assessment of student work. This will help optimize routine processes and allow more time to be devoted to academic support for students.
Students, in turn, will gain access to a personal AI tutor available 24/7. The platform will also provide access to virtual laboratories, where students will be able to develop practical skills in a safe digital environment without the risk of damaging equipment.
One of the key advantages of Oilan.AI will be the creation of a digital graduate portfolio upon completion of studies. This tool will help systematize students’ academic achievements, practical skills, and project experience, thereby increasing their competitiveness in the labor market.
The signing of the memorandum is an important step in the digital transformation of KBTU and the strengthening of international cooperation in education and innovative technologies. The university continues to implement modern solutions aimed at improving the quality of education, developing AI competencies, and training specialists who are in demand in a rapidly changing technological environment.
