The online meeting of the Alumni Association of the Kazakh-British Technical University took place on 17th of November.
The meeting with the KBTU management, deans, faculty and student activists of KBTU was attended by 130 university alumni, representing alumni graduated from 2006 to 2018. All of them are united around a common idea - the creation of the KBTU ALUMNI Association in honor of the 15th anniversary of the first graduates of KBTU.
Rector of KBTU Mr. Kenzhebek Ibrashev had welcomed participants. The results of the university's activities in recent years, strategic development, plans and objectives for the 2020-2021 academic year were shared with alumni. In addition, the issue of commercialization of students startup projects were discussed.
During the meeting, the structure and work plan of the KBTU ALUMNI Association were discussed, the structure of the Association Council was approved. Deputy Chairman of the Board of QazTech Ventures and 2008 year graduate of the Faculty of Energy and Oil and Gas Industry Mr. Medet Dyussembayev was elected as the President of the Association.
