The doctoral (PhD) program is the final stage of higher education and a crucial step in training highly qualified scientific and academic personnel. Upon completion, graduates gain the opportunity to conduct research, engage in teaching, and potentially join the academic staff.
PhD candidates study their chosen educational program for three years. During this time, they master modern research methods, enhance their professional skills, complete required and elective courses, publish scientific articles, and prepare and publicly defend a doctoral dissertation.
KBTU also offers dual-degree PhD programs, allowing students to study jointly with international partner universities and obtain diplomas from both institutions—greatly increasing their global competitiveness.
