Honorary Professor of KBTU

Dr. Siddharth S. («Montu») Saxena is a Principal Research Associate (professorial rank) at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge, and a Bye-Fellow of Jesus College, Cambridge; he is also an Honorary Professor and Head of the Laboratory of Novel Superconducting Materials at KBTU.

Elena Kalyuzhnova is the founder and director of the Centre for Euro-Asian Studies at the University of Reading (UK) and a lecturer in the University’s Department of Economics. She is a professor and Doctor of Economic Sciences. She serves as an economic adviser on Caspian issues to Lord Fraser of Kermily, Chairman of the British-Kazakh Society, and is a visiting fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies.

Sarmurzina Raushan Gaysievna – Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Council of the Association of Producers and Consumers of Petrochemical Products.

Sergey Semenovich Serebryansky is an Honorary Professor at KBTU and an Honorary Doctor (awarded in 2010 by Karaganda State Technical University). He serves as scientific director for projects at the Department of Logistics and Industrial Process Optimization, is the CEO and founder of the JANSER Group of companies, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the public foundation of the European and International Alliance «Central Asian Cooperation Center IDEA».

Dr James Abdey – Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistics, who earned his degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at LSE and Deputy Academic Director of the Economics, Management, Finance and the Social Sciences (EMFSS) programmes at the University of London.
